Artist Statement:
I dedicate my love of photography to my dad who gifted me my first camera at the age of 8. I have had one strapped around my neck ever since and feel no greater joy than capturing the beauty all around us through my lens. My work specializes in documentary photography and my goal is to display the essence of humanity in its raw and unfiltered form. I strive to showcase "Humans As They Are," without the use of artificial lighting, gloss, or photoshop. My mission is to document the real and unaltered human experience as it naturally unfolds. I am drawn to candid, unposed moments, that reveal the authenticity of those on the other end of my lens. In a world filled with such divisiveness, conflict and unrest, I strive to use my photographs to show a shared human experience across the globe and highlight the similarities, rather than differences, between us all. I feel honored to have the opportunity to document the human experience in all its diversity and hope to bring greater understanding and empathy to our world.
